How it Works

Conventional oil filters use a paper medium removing particle contaminates in oil down to 25-40 microns. Over time, small particles will build up in the oil causing an increase in friction and wear. Once this process begins it rapidly compounds itself causing engine oil to need changing between 3,000 and 5,000 miles.

Most lubrication engine damage is caused by particles sizes of 3-10 microns. Trapping particles smaller than 3 microns and preventing them from circulating through the engine will virtually eliminate oil contamination that causes friction and wear. The microGREEN Oil Filter does exactly that. The 2-in-1 filter traps particles down to 2 microns without restricting oil flow. The Patented technology uses a typical paper medium, along with a secondary micro-filter, allowing 95% full flow while 5% is being filtered through the micro-filter. After several hours of running, all the engine's oil makes it through the micro-filter, cleaning it to 2 microns.
